[PINGUIN] asoundconf, aplay und ac3 ;-)

Hallo Pinguin Leser und Leserinnen,

es ist ein ewiges Hick-Hack. Im Moment versuche ich wieder einmal, das
ich endlich auch den ac3 Ton durch den Mixer laufen lassen kann. Das
also nicht das Gerät direkt, sondern über alsa angesprochen wird. Wie
Henning vor einiger Zeit schon sagte, bekommt man mit

# aplay -l
# aplay -L

einige nützliche Informationen raus. Z. B. ist mein SPDIF:

    IEC958 (S/PDIF) Digital Audio Output

    Großschreibung beachten. ;-)

    und das Device dafür:

    card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 2: ALC880 Digital [ALC880 Digital]

    Wenn ich in meiner setup Datei des VDR für ac3 "IEC958" angebe,
    dann wird wieder der altbekannte Fehler ausgespuckt.

    "Ac3play: sound open: Datei oder ..."

Das übliche eben. :-( Nun wollte ich mit asoundconf meine default
Soundkarte definieren, da die TV Karte bei "aplay -L" ebenfalls als Soundkarte
angezeigt wird, und ich einfach sehen will, ob der VDR nicht zufällig
versucht "IEC958" auf der TV Karte zu finden. Mit:

# asoundconf list

soll eine Liste der Karten kommen, doch leider ist die Liste bei mir
leer. :-(

Somit kann ich auch nicht mit:

# asoundconf set-default-card

Die default card zuweisen.

#aplay -L

bringt bei mir:

Vielleicht hat jmd. mit diesen Angaben noch den nötigen Hinweis, um
dieses Thema endgültig abzuarbeiten. :-S
